🎵 TM-Earbuds | Your Personal In-Game Music Player 🎵

Elevate your server's roleplay and give your players the ultimate immersive experience with TM-Earbuds! This script allows players to use their own set of earbuds to listen to their favorite music from YouTube and Spotify, anywhere on the map, without disturbing others. It's the perfect addition for players who want to vibe to their own soundtrack while grinding, cruising, or just hanging out.

Key Features:

  • 🎧 Personalized Audio: Music is played only for the player using the earbuds, creating a private and immersive listening session thanks to xsound.
  • ▶️ YouTube & YouTube Playlists: Players can listen to any single song or an entire playlist from YouTube just by pasting the URL.
  • 🟢 Spotify Track Support: Simply paste a link to a Spotify track, and the script will automatically find and play it.
  • ✨ Sleek & Modern NUI: A beautiful, intuitive, and responsive UI makes controlling your music a breeze. Play, pause, seek through the track, adjust volume, and manage playlists with ease.
  • 🔄 Full Playlist Control: Effortlessly skip forward and backward through songs in a playlist.
  • 🔌 Broad Framework & Inventory Support: Designed for maximum compatibility! The built-in bridge system supports QBCore, ESX, and Standalone frameworks, along with popular inventory systems like ox-inventory, qs-inventory, and the default qb-inventory.
  • 🛠️ Highly Configurable: The detailed config.lua allows you to change the item name, default volume, commands, and more.
  • 🔓 Open-Source Bridge: The bridge files are not escrowed, giving you the freedom to easily adapt the script to any custom framework or inventory system you might have.

How It Works:

  1. A player obtains the earbuds item in-game (through shops, crafting, etc.).
  2. They use the item from their inventory, which places the earbuds prop on their character.
  3. The music UI automatically opens, ready for a song or playlist link.
  4. Players can use the configured keybind to toggle between controlling the game and the UI, so they never have to stop the music.

Dependencies:

  • ox_lib (Required for UI and other functions)
  • xsound (Required for audio playback)

🚨 Important Installation Note 🚨

To get the script working, you MUST add your own API keys to the config.lua file. This is a crucial step for the music integration to function.
  • Config.YouTubeApiKey
  • Config.SpotifyClientID
  • Config.SpotifyClientSecret
You must also set the Config.Framework and Config.Inventory options to match your server's setup. Clear instructions are provided in the documentation.
